This beautiful T'boli bouse, locally called Kegal Bentilas, is made of cotton ornamented with green, white, and red sequins. The T'boli people are one of the indigenous peoples in the Philippines. They are known for their embroidered attire, colorful ornaments, and t'nalak weaving using abaca and natural dyes.
This blouse is crafted by the Betek Ifuy Weavers, T'boli women weavers of the Philippines, also known as the Dreamwaevers. These women weavers are descendants of the late Lang Dulay, a Filipino traditional weaver who was a recipient of the National Living Treasures Award. The Betek Ifuy weavers of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, continue Lang Dulay's legacy.
